ProPERLA Wall Coating
The outer wall of the house is protected by ProPERLA Wall Coating, a two-coat, coloured, waterproof exterior wall coating that is technologically sophisticated and reduces water absorption by 96%.
Keep Warm & Dry
The outside wall coating, which is sometimes referred to as the “lotus effect” due to its resemblance to the water-repelling qualities of the lotus leaf, when applied, produces a watertight, extremely hydrophobic surface. When it rains, coated mineral surfaces will deflect the water, causing it to condense into beads and run off without being absorbed (since the water is more attracted to itself than the surface). It decreases water absorption by 93.4%, according to independent tests, and as a result satisfies British Standard BS EN ISO 7783:2011 for water vapour resistance.
Tests conducted by UKAS-accredited laboratories showed that the wall coating improved thermal performance and was found to comply with EAD 03301344685 by minimising water absorption by the walls.
Breathable
ProPERLA Facade Coating is a highly breathable wall coating, which is crucial. According to BS EN ISO 7783:2011, water vapour permeability testing was done, and the results showed that the coating had no impact on the substrate’s water vapour diffusion.
The walls and cavities are safeguarded by the application of ProPERLA Exterior Facade Coating, which keeps them dry while enabling air and moisture to escape. The vital ability of the building envelope to breathe is preserved. Contrary to some stone and brick sealing chemicals, it does not coat the masonry’s pores with a thin layer, thereby obstructing their pores.
Colours
A variety of pastel colours, including Water Lily, Devon Stone, Pebble, Polar White, and Cotswold Cream, are offered for the external wall coating.
